On May 14, 2021, COFCO's Meishan California Smart City (MCSC) Industry Team, along with Leshan Investment Promotion Bureau Shenzhen Office and Meishan Economic Cooperation Bureau Guangdong Office, visited Shenzhen Stock Exchange to carry out cooperation and exchanges with Shanghai Securities News Shenzhen Office. MCSC Industry Team had a talk with Mr. Lei Zhongxiao, Deputy General Manager of Xinhua News Agency-sponsored Shanghai Securities News. The two sides exchanged views in depth on planning on carrying out the Tour of Shenzhen's Listed Enterprises in Sichuan and on the follow-up regional cooperation in the field of enterprise recruitment.

Mr. Lei Zhongxiao, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Securities News, highly recognized the brand strength of COFCO and GrandJoy Holdings as well as the development prospect of MCSC. With the closer linkage between the "Belt and Road" Economic Belt and the Middle and Lower Reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, he said, companies listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange have been dying to transfer their production capacity centres and functional management centres to the central and western regions, so as to reduce production and operation costs. The company plans to visit the Sichuan area and MCSC project to gain better knowledge about the opportunities present and future cooperation.
