On May 24, 2021, "the 11th China International Energy Storage Conference (CIES 2021)", sponsored by Energy Storage Application Branch of China Industrial Association of Power Sources (CIAPS) and co-hosted by COFCO's Meishan California Smart City (MCSC), kicked off in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Nearly 2,000 representatives from more than 700 industrial chain enterprises in different fields such as industry authorities, scientific research institutions, enterprises in energy storage industry chain and ecosystem, and financial institutions, gathered together and had in-depth discussions and exchanges on further promoting and improving the construction of market mechanism of energy storage value, as well as building a market-oriented green technology innovation system.

With the progress of project construction and the success of enterprise recruitment, the project has drawn great attention from all sectors of society and is widely praised by experts in the industry. At the award ceremony of the "Night of Energy Storage" dinner party on the first day of the conference, MCSC was honored with the title of "2021 Best Demonstration Project Award in Chinese Energy Storage Industry".

MCSC Project will continue to actively communicate with industry experts in depth. Before this, it has participated in the conference for two consecutive years and set up a booth, attracting attention and consultation from a large number of industry entrepreneurs and scientific research experts. During the Conference, the project research team also discussed the industry policies on energy storage, project investment & financing, and industrial development, laying a solid foundation for providing quality services to industry enterprises at home and abroad and for further promoting the development of the industry.
