Reports from the Sichuan Province Clean Energy Industry Cultivation and Expansion Plan state that by 2022, the province will reach 105GW in clean energy power generation. Meanwhile, consumption of non-green energy will hit record lows.
In accordance with the 2019 Annual Plan of Chengdu on Low Carbon City Construction , more than 90 billion RMB has been allocated towards environmental protection industries.
In the next five years, Tianfu New Area (Shuangliu Zone) will foster three industrial clusters each valued at 100 billion RMB by integrating industries like new energy equipment manufacturing, new electronic information and aviation service & manufacturing, and achieve an industrial scale of 500 billion RMB.
